The second exhibition showcasing the best of contemporary ceramics from Japan with over 20 artists participating across diverse traditons, styles and career points.  In this year's exhibtion we debut 8 new artists and are delighted to include 9 female artists.  From masters preserving and driving forward ancient ceramic tradition to new wave makers free to express their artistic sentiment through clay, the exhibition offers a diverse and expansive contemporary statement on the current Japanese ceramics scene  The largest and most comprehenive exhibition of contemporary work outside of Japan this year is sure to deliver new perspectives on what constitues modern Japanese ceramic direction.

PLEASE NOTE: Opening Day on Oct 29th is invitation only and now at full capacity.  The exhibition will be open for general admission from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 30th October and the gallery will operate normal opening hours, 10am - 5pm, Monday to Saturday thereafter.  'Treasures of Japan II' runs until Saturday 12th November.
