This exhibition acquaints us with 20 defining new works from the studio of contemporary British artist Stephen Lavis. Lavis is an exacting person with a keen sense of detail and projected space, a softly spoken artistic intellect who paints with an equally exacting approach. Observant, critical, visually investigative yet always accommodating to new thoughts from his environment and interests. It is from this wonderful cocktail of personality traits that his works emerge, rhythmically and poetically calling on us to ponder the familiar and the unknowable.  

Since debuting Lavis' work here in 2020 we have installed his work in clients' collections all over the world. We have relished the abundance of praise from new owners of his paintings which brim with appreciation for the sense of form, space, tone, temperament and interest they have given their homes.
