We are excited to announce the line up of makers that will be included in this year's incarnation of Summer Shuki, a new online release of sake wares for 2024.  Now in it's third year, this summer release of vessels for pouring and driking Japanese Sake boasts 12 superb artists including debuts for Sakakura Shinbei XV, Sakakura Masahiro, Wakao Kei and Goto Hideki.

'Sake' in Japanese is the general term for all types of alcohol.  The brewed alcoholic rice beverage we tend to asssociate with the term 'Sake' in the West is but one type of Japanese sake and is called 'Nihonshu' in Japan.  The majority of the pieces in this release are intended for pouring and drinking Nihonshu but there are also a few surpise Shuki pieces for beer and distilled Japanese spirits (Shochu) truly making this a release for all types of Sake!  We hope you enjoy the release and find that next precious gem for your Shuki collection, Kanpai!

This will be an online launch opening at 7pm (BST) on Friday 12th July.  Purchased pieces will be shipped to collectors immediately.

All of the sake wares will also be available in the gallery for viewing and purchase from Saturday 13th July.
