It has been 4 long years since we have had the pleasure and delight of offering Shinohara san's works to our clients so it is exciting to be able to confirm a collection release for March 2025.

Shonhara san's works are thought to be some of the finest contemporary Shigaraki works being made in Japan right now.  His ability to span a rianbow of colour tones purely from the affinity he has with his wood firings is truly inspiring.  From soft orange to deep tan fire colours, amber hued Biidoro through to emerald Biidoro, Shinohara san's work bursts with the possibilities that masteful firing of Shigaraki clay can offer.

Please Note: This release will be a relatively small offering and intended as an online release of works for our client base collectors.  It will not be a staged exhibtion in the gallery as sold works will be dispatched to collectors shortly after pruchase.  Any remaining unsold works after release will, of course, be made available to view in the gallery.
