Yasuo Terada


Yasuo Terada was born in 1948 in Seto City, Japan.

He graduated from Tama Art University with a major in sculpture. He has toured countries around the world, working and exploring for inspiration. His works have been exhibited in sculpture exhibitions in the Aichi Prefecture Art Museum, as well as in the New Representational Sculpture Exhibition in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.

Yasuo Terada won the Asahi Ceramics Exhibition Grand Prix and has been selected for the Modern Craft Exhibition and other prestigious awards. He has held solo exhibitions in Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi and Nagoya Matsuzakaya. He has also been a lecturer in the Aichi University of Education since 1977.
