Mamaru Shibaoka is a Bizen potter with over 40 years experience in the Bizen non-glazed tradition. His works feature progressive forms and explore all aspects of desired Bizen firing outcomes. Particularly stunning are his metallic hidasuki and glorious goma works. He is the father of emerging talent Yuta Shibaoka.
